Once a registrar is connected, customers can search for and register domains directly in the cart, and WHMAZ places the registration with your registrar automatically.
1. Connect your registrar
- Go to Settings → Domain Registrars in the admin portal.
- Choose your registrar and enter the API credentials from your registrar account.
- Whitelist your server's IP address in the registrar's control panel. Most registrars reject API calls from unknown addresses, and this step is missed more often than any other.
- Start in the registrar's test or sandbox mode if one is offered, and switch to live once a test registration succeeds.
2. Set your pricing
Domain search returns nothing until pricing exists for the extension being searched. See Setting Domain Pricing.
3. Test the full path
Search for a domain in the client portal, add it to the cart and complete an order. Confirm the domain appears in your registrar account and in the customer's portal.
What the customer can do afterwards
- View the domain and its expiry date in their portal
- Update nameservers
- Manage contact details
- Set up private child nameservers
- Renew, either manually or by paying the automatic renewal invoice
If domain search returns no results
- No pricing is configured for that extension — this is the usual cause.
- The server IP is not whitelisted at the registrar.
- The API credentials are wrong, or the account is still in test mode.
- The
curlPHP extension is missing.
